I'm a man, walk around many parts of the city late at night and almost always feel safe. Pickpocketing and petty theft are bigger problems than any kind of violence (though there are occasional problems). The area behind the National Museum at night used to give me the creeps, used to see some weirdos back there.
Answer 1 of 7: We are on a bus tour that stops in Prague and they want 50.00 per person for a night walking tour that ends at the Charles bridge. My family of 5 would be 250.00. Is it safe to stroll the downtown area to see the city lights at night for a family
10) Trust Your Gut. When walking alone at night, trust your gut. If you feel like an area or situation may be dangerous, donβt wait around to find out. Stop and scan your surroundings if you think someone is following you. If you are being followed, walk as quickly as you can to a well-lit public place.
Answer 1 of 8: I am arriving in Prague at 7:30pm on an international flight on a Friday evening. I assume one hour for getting bags and through customs. Is public transportation still safe later at night (around 8:30 or 9pm?) In fact, Prague is considered to be one of the safest destinations in the whole area. However, like any big city, there are some areas that are not recommended for walking around at night. Most of these less safe areas are located away from where you would normally move around as a tourist. q83C.
